It’s Official: My Airbnb Experience Is Live!

I am so excited to share some big news. It is official — I am now hosting an Airbnb Experience in Central Park: Wildlife Walk & Photography Workshop. This Wildlife Walk in Central Park is not only about spotting hawks, songbirds, and squirrels, but also a hands-on photography workshop where I share tips to help you capture each moment.

Central Park Wildlife Walk

This has been months in the making, and I have poured a lot of heart and countless hours of fine tuning into shaping it. Photography has always been at the center of my life, and New York City’s parks are where that passion comes alive. Being able to combine both and help others discover their own joy in capturing wildlife is something I am truly proud of.

Here is what the experience looks like:

Meet, Greet and Camera Tips

We will start with a quick introduction at our meeting point in Central Park. I will go over the plan for the walk and share a few simple but powerful photography tips to get you ready.

Wildlife Spotting Warm Up

We will ease in by looking for year-round residents such as hawks soaring above the trees, squirrels darting through the grass, and turtles sunning themselves. This part is all about practicing spotting techniques and adjusting your camera settings.

Birding Hotspots

We will visit areas I have come to know as magnets for seasonal visitors. In spring and fall this often means colorful warblers passing through on migration, a real treat to photograph

Photo Practice and Wrap Up

We will finish in one of my favorite scenic spots in the park. It is the perfect backdrop for one last great shot. I will answer questions, share extra tips, and make sure you leave with new skills and hopefully some images you will love.

The experience lasts about two hours, is limited to ten guests, and is priced at sixty-five dollars per person. Private groups are available as well.

Every guest will also receive a special gift from DennisNewsham.com as a thank you for joining.

Why I Am Excited

For me, this is more than just a workshop. It is a chance to connect, to share my love of the city’s wild side, to swap stories, and to help people at every level of photography capture the moments that move them.

Wildlife in New York City never ceases to amaze me. The fact that hawks, warblers, owls, and even bald eagles call this city home is something worth celebrating and sharing.

If you have ever wanted to see Central Park through a wildlife photographer’s eyes, or if you would love a fresh perspective on the city, I would love to have you join me.
